Fall is my favorite season. Fall brings sweaters, a crispness in the air, burning fireplaces, hayrides, and hot chocolate. It is time the earth begins to rest for a season, and then more beauty begins to emerge. As you can probably guess, I love the mountains, especially in the fall. The beauty of the changing colors begs taking long drives and enjoying the scenery. The painting of the Master Artist.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11, ESV).
The Scripture says it all happens in God’s timing—everything. He sees the big picture—and it’s beautiful.
This is comforting, especially when we go through difficult times. What is on your canvas? Emotional highs and lows. Joys and sorrows. Hopes and dreams. Expressions of the heart and deep longings.
