Easter — Now What?

Welcome back to connections2excellence! I am so glad you joined us today. Thank you!

Did you have a wonderful Easter? How did you enjoy the weekend? Many had a holiday from the office. Little ones participated in an Easter egg hunt and found lots of bunnies, chocolate, and jelly beans. Families came together and enjoyed delightful meals. And many may have attended a church service on Good Friday or Easter Sunday.

Now what?

It seems that special days during the year encourage times of reflection and opportunities to consider an impactful change in life, direction, or choices. Easter is one of those special days.

One of the most contemplative passages in Scripture is 1 Corinthians 15. This passage explains that if Christ was not raised from the dead, then our faith is useless; and we have no hope. Wow! Take a moment to read the passage. Do you find these verses challenging? They beg the question, What do I believe? And, if I believe that Christ was raised from the dead, what impact does it make on my life and the way I live? Another wow!–and very personal.

How does this connect to excellence? Believing the truth that Christ was raised from the dead is the most important life decision you will ever make, and it will make an impact on your life for eternity. Every part of you will be affected by your decision. It is my sincerest prayer that there was a point during your weekend in which you examined the story of Christ’s resurrection and allowed it to penetrate your heart and make an impact on your life.

Our Connections Challenge: Read 1 Corinthians 15 in its entirety, and reflect on its message. Believe and be blessed!
