There is an area in our little community full of sunflowers. It is so beautiful and inviting, several have taken advantage of opportunities for family pictures and bridal portraits.

As we drove by one morning, I noticed the sunflowers facing the same direction. I immediately thought, “Their faces are toward the sun.” Can you guess what I pondered next? “Is my face toward the Son?”
This verse kept coming to mind, “Your face, LORD, I will seek” (Psalm 27:8).
In the midst of my circumstances
Your face, LORD, I will seek
In the midst of my fears
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I don’t know what to do next
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When my health fails
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I lose my job
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When my relationship seems over
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When people come against me
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I open Your holy Word
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I bow my heart in prayer
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I hear birds sing Your praises
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I look toward the mountains
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I hear a baby’s laughter
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I lie down to sleep
Your face, LORD, I will seek
When I arise to a new day
Your face, LORD, I will seek
