Invaluable Counselors

Good ol’ Charlie Brown. He sought counsel about life from the coldhearted Lucy and the compassionate Snoopy on many occasions.

Just like Charlie Brown, we all need people in our lives. People encouraging us and giving us advice. People pushing us so we can be excellent in our pursuits. People walking alongside us and coaching us through challenges and adversities. There are many counselors in my life: parents, husband, family, teachers, close friends, managers, and close and distant mentors. Even though some are gone, the memory of their counsel lives.

Our Connections2Excellence Challenge: Recall those people who have been invaluable to your growth and how their counsel continues to impact you. Who seeks your advice? Be that priceless counselor to someone.
