Squirrel!!

Okay, I confess that I can get easily distracted. I can overthink things and imagine worst case scenarios. I have good intentions to stop and focus on a project then—squirrel!—something else that I cannot forget to do or demands my attention distracts me. So, I use those amazing to do lists and reminders to make sure I don’t forget.

There is so much in our world that demands our dedicated focus. Jobs, wealth, possessions, meetings, projects, etc. It is so easy to lose our way and focus on things that are less important and trivial.

What’s the answer?

Friend, like many of us, I’m a work in progress. From experience and tips that I’ve read, it comes down to being intentional and practicing discipline.
