There’s More To It

As we will see in a future series, there are many types of gates from ancient times that served a particular purpose. This week, we see that gates can be used more for just its intended purpose. As we connect this concept to our faith, we can discover other connections.

My husband is also my friend, counselor, and helper. I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mother. We recognize God as one; and, in a previous series, we identified that He has many attributes or characteristics. He is Father and He is Provider, Healer, and Lord. He is judge yet also took the punishment for us. The Trinity is one and consists of Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

As we go through life, we may see one aspect of situations. For example, if a desire does not come, we may feel frustrated and question why. Yet, if we look with a faith perspective, we can anticipate that God has a greater purpose. Sometimes, if we reflect on a situation, we see that greater blessings came because of a closed door.

Our Faith Connections Challenge: God is greater than what we know of Him, and it is incomprehensible for us to learn all about Him because we are limited in our understanding. As you experience situations that are unsettling, seek the Lord’s wisdom and guidance as to what may be the purpose. What He may want to teach you. How He may want to use you as a mentor or counselor to others who may be going through a similar situation.
